Umumnya digunakan pada: Receiver, Separator, Intercooler, Reservoir (tangki), Drip leg (pipa uap utama).<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Cara Kerja :<\/h3>\n<p>Saat uap mulai mengalir, pelampung (float) berada di posisi bawah dan katup dalam kondisi tertutup. Kondensat yang masuk ke steam trap akan mulai mengangkat pelampung setelah permukaan kondensat menutupi seat katup. Semakin tinggi level kondensat, semakin besar bukaan katup.<br \/>\nSteam trap seri FTH-10 bekerja secara modulating, artinya aliran kondensat diatur otomatis sesuai naik-turunnya pelampung.
